![]() ![]() There are some dyanics modelled and they seem to be different once the vehicle is in the air? Not sure because I haven't managed more than a few seconds. 2.1K Share 327K views 8 years ago I just started playing the game tonight and Im having a blast (or three), and I was even able to build a flying machine that was controllable enough to fly. A simple propeller can literally flip a vehicle over or break it's axle. With the wheels you can do a reverse counter-propeller, but some torque remains. ![]() Tonight I'm going to try to use counterweight ballast to counter the torque. I'm referring to the rotor blades on a block on a wheel propeller design by the way, due to its adjustable speed and greater lift. I tried using a prop in the front, a prop in the back, dual wingmounted props, quad wingmounted props, but they all torque the fuselage too much. I think it's only possible to create helicopter type flying machines. And if you try a spinning block with propellars attached to it the whole thing torques and is unflyable. You have to add blocks to add more flying blocks and the weight of those blocks negates the extra power from the added flying blocks. The problem is that if you have 2 sets of propeller blades, one to the left, one to the right, you can make them spin opposite directions by pressing F on the spinning block, but that will make 1 push up and 1 push down, because theres no way to mirror the blades, only turn them. I've been trying but the flying block doesn't spin fast enough. To provide this you could probably add a possibility to attach some moving blocks parameters to joystick axes. Controlling them with keyboard is not an easy task. There are some dyanics modelled and they seem to be different once the vehicle is in the air? I suppose it would be very, very convinient to control flying models using joystick, like in most flight simulators. Tonight I'm going to try to use counterweight ballast to counter the torque. Place four or more wheels on the starting block. You have to add blocks to add more flying blocks and the weight of those blocks negates the extra power from the added flying blocks. Wheel with propeller is one of the easiest source of thrust to build.
